Jacob uses his business and dispute resolution expertise to tackle complex and difficult legal matters, in a wide range of areas. With a focus on client relationships, the areas Jacob is most active in include all aspects of property, finance, dispute resolution, business, insolvency and bankruptcy. Jacob has also practiced family law and employment law for 10 years.

Joseph has been a solicitor in the state of New South Wales since 2012. Joseph manages conveyancing and also advises clients on commercial matters. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of Western Sydney.

Dannielle was admitted as a solicitor of New South Wales in 2019 and has been an employee of the firm since 2013.
Throughout her time at the firm, Dannielle has gained experience across various areas of law in her role as paralegal.
Dannielle has worked closely with John in his commercial law matters, as well as working alongside Joseph in his property and conveyancing matters.
Dannielle also has experience in Probate and Estate Planning, and an interest in family law matters.

Dannielle completed a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of New South Wales, and a Juris Doctor at the University of Technology Sydney.

With so many years experience in legal practice, John is a very practical and trusted legal adviser.
His main areas of legal practice include commercial and corporate, company secretarial, intellectual property and real estate, estate planning, probate and public notary work.
John has worked as a solicitor for the Corporate Affairs Commission (now ASIC) as General Counsel for 2 publicly listed companies, and extensively in private practice as a Partner in 2 large law firms from 1990 before establishing Sydney Legal Advisers in 2008.

John holds the following degrees:
Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law from the University of Sydney
Master of Business Law and Master of Health Law from the University of Sydney; and
Master of Law from University of Technology, Sydney.
John was on the Advisory Board of Catholic Aged Care for 5 years. Previously, he was a Director of Barnardos Australia for 10 years, and has been their honorary legal adviser since 1989. He was a director of Calvary Hospital for six years and a board member of Waverley College for 10 years. John continues to do pro bono legal work for a number of charities.
John is a former President of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association and wrote their first in-house counsel manual. He has lectured extensively on corporate law and commercial law, including an involvement with the Securities Institute since 1992, as lecturer and marker in Securities Industry Law and Ethics.
John has been a Public Notary since 1989.

Joining the team in 2017 under the Elderlaw brand, Rodney brings over 40 years experience in the areas of elderlaw, will disputes, and guardianship.
Rodney is a renowned author with such publications as ‘Elderlaw in Australia’ (published by LexisNexis). He lectures extensively in this field and is well regarded as the foremost expert on the topic of Elderlaw.

Tim has been a solicitor in the state of New South Wales since 1996. With over 26 years of experience, Tim is a well-respected and trusted legal adviser. Tim has previously worked for the NSW government, specifically the NSW Privacy Commissioner, NSW Maritime and NSW Vocational Education and Training Board. Tim specialises in insurance law, litigation, maritime law and contract law. Tim is vastly experienced in preparing and conducting hearings before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Australian Federal Court.

Specialising in family, property, and wills and estate law, Jing is known for her strategic thinking, exceptional client care, and clear communication, ensuring her clients are informed and supported throughout every stage of their legal process.

Estephen joined our placement program in 2021 and was subsequently offered a position as a Law Clerk, providing administrative support to the Litigation team. Now a solicitor, Estephen primarily works in conveyancing. His enthusiasm and eagerness to learn continue to make him a great asset to the firm.

Nicole, an integral member of our team since 2015, oversees accounts payable, receivable, and trust-related transactions. As a registered Justice of the Peace (JP) in New South Wales, Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge to our firm.

Georgette joined the team in 2022 with a strong focus on organisation and culture within the workplace.
Having studied political science and now completing her BPsych, Georgette aspires to merge her legal and psychological knowledge in a future forensic psychology career.

Dora has been practicing law as a paralegal since 1985 principally in probate law, estate planning (wills, powers of attorney and enduring guardianship), family law and property law.
Dora fluently speaks, writes and reads Greek.

Grace joined the firm in 2024 as a receptionist while completing her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology Sydney, with graduation expected in 2025. With a precise attention to detail, she supports our clients and aims to become a solicitor specialising in family law or personal injury.
